One-person Protest

This is a kind of performance art to grieve for the loss of our freedom of assembly.
Every year on July 1 at 3pm, I perform my “One-Person Protest” from Victoria Park to Admiralty on the same route where rallies have taken place for many years.

This is a co-design project involving participants from different fields, organized by Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation. It started with an on-site co-design workshop, where we created two prototypes based on interviews and observations with cleaners. The prototypes were first tested in the lab and then by the cleaners.
