DIY Folder Mask

In the beginning of the coronavirus, there was a shortage of face masks. Online you could see people using plastic folders to assemble simple masks. People in Hong Kong were also tailor making surgical masks, to replace the use of industrial use safety masks with filters. The former was too primitive while the latter was costly. The first design philosophy of folder masks must be existing material that was easily found, secondly it could be self-made. The photos underneath are two initial designs for trial use. Since there was no more shortage of masks later on, this project was discontinued.
