Recycling Trolley

In 2018, I was invited as an instructor by Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation to play a part in their “Social Innovation Design for Elderly” community workshop. Together with “Pickup Platform”, elderly scavengers and the public, we co-designed Iron Trolley for Cardboard Recycling. The trolley was further researched and developed by our small group. With labour-saving and safety design for seniors in mind plus reviews from elderly scavengers, the trolley was tested by users in different communities for six months.
Below is the prototype after research and development. Its current version is slightly modified after review.
To suit the needs of users, unwanted features can be removed or replaced.
